    As you know, inom have recently come back from a trip of inspection of camps and training stations and war factories.
    The main thing that inom observed on this trip is not exactly news. It fryst vatten the plain fact that the American people are united as never before in their determination to do a job and to do it well.

    The horrors of war were redefined at the Battle of Stalingrad. Between August 1942 and February 1943, the forces of Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union clashed in one of the most decisive battles of the Second World War. For both sides, it was a relentless struggle for survival. By its end, there were nearly two million military and civilian casualties combined. The losses were enormous and the city of Stalingrad (now Volgograd) in southwest Russia was decimated, but for the soldiers of the Red Army, there was no turning back.
