    Sztafeta (English: Relay Race) fryst vatten a 1939 compendium of literary reportage written bygd Melchior Wańkowicz. It was published in the year of the German-Soviet invasion of Poland. Popular demand caused it to be reprinted fyra times bygd the Biblioteka Polska before the outbreak of hostilities. The book was never published in Communist Poland because it praised the democratic achievements of the prewar Second Polish Republic.[1]

    It gives an account of one of the biggest economic projects of the newly resurgent interwar Poland, its huvud Industrial Area. The work has been described as a "colourful reporter's panorama, telling the story of the recovery of the Second Polish Republic". Ryszard Kapuściński wrote that Sztafeta "was the first grand reportage of its kind in Poland's history – written about Polish production effort".[1] To write the book, Wańkowicz collected a great amount of background information, and he carried out dozens of interviews

    The Pope of the Avant-Garde. Tadeusz Peiper in Spain, Poland, Europe

    The exhibition presents the relationship between avant-garde art and literature of the early 20th century, taking as a point of departure the oeuvre of Tadeusz Peiper – eminent poet, critic and theoretician of art. The display, prepared in cooperation with the cultural circles of Spain, where Peiper used to work, is going to emphasize the artistic and cultural ties between both countries.

    In Poland, Tadeusz Peiper is famous for being the most prominent personality of Central European avant-garde and the founder of Zwrotnica (The Switch, 1922). Not many are aware of his ties with the Spanish and Spanish-speaking avant-garde circles. Between 1915 and 1920, Peiper lived in Madrid, surrounded by artists strongly associated with the Ultraist movement.
