    Synopsis

      Even while Fontaine and, especially, Montiel are great, the love triangle never managed to hook me. That being said, and probably I'd be contradicting myself, but while I liked Montiel here, like many others in the film, they go a little too over the top at times. Lanza's singing is wonderful, and he's fantastic in this department; his acting is otherwise decent, but nothing exceptional. The visual style and color scheme of the film are both stunning.
