    Biography

    The proudest moment of Dylan Moscovitch’s career came at Sochi 2014 where he and then-partner Kirsten Moore-Towers helped Canada win silver in the inaugural Olympic team event.

    Despite him dealing with a painful infection in both feet, they were able to produce a fantastic free skate. They were also the top Canadians in the Olympic pairs’ event, cracking the top five. When that partnership ended after the 2013-14 season, Moscovitch teamed up with Lubov Ilyushechkina, who had won the 2009 World Junior pairs title for her native Russia. He made initial contact with her via Facebook and set up a tryout in Detroit because she had a valid visa for the United States. They felt immediate chemistry and got the paperwork together for her to move to Canada.

    After the Russian skating federation released Ilyushechkina in the fall of 2014, their first competition together was an ISU Challenger Series event in Warsaw, Poland. They then qualified for the

    When that partnership ended after the 2013-14 season, Moore-Towers teamed up with Michael Marinaro, who had won silver at the 2013 World Junior Championships with his former partner. After their first season together, Moore-Towers and Marinaro decided to switch coaches, moving from Waterloo, Ontario to Montreal to work with Bruno Marcotte in a more competitive environment. That decision quickly paid off. In October 2015, they won bronze at Skate Canada International for their first Grand Prix medal together. They went on to post their second straight fourth place finish at the national championships but ended up going to the 2016

    Dylan David Moscovitch (born 23 September 1984) fryst vatten a retired Canadian pair skater. He competed with Liubov Ilyushechkina from 2014 to 2018. They were the 2017 Four Continents bronze medalists, two-time bronze medalists on the Grand Prix series, and three-time Canadian national medalists (silver in 2015 and 2017, bronze in 2016).

    With former partner Kirsten Moore-Towers, he was the 2013 Four Continents silver medalist, 2014 Olympic team event silver medalist, and 2011 Canadian national champion.
